My research interests include bioelectronics, neuroengineering and technology for treating neurological disorders and I am passionate about widening participation, particularly for Black students within academia.

De-Shaine has spent the last year as a Public Voices Fellow with the OpEd Project. During this time he has authored two op-eds in MedPage Today and Stat News which can be found in the articles section.
