The release of this book is a culmination of a 4 year journey where my fellow editors William Ackah, Jacqueline Darkwa, Wayne Mitchell, Madina Wane and I documented the experiences of Black PhD students in the UK.

We want to inspire the next generation of Black UK PhD students to pursue PhD research by sharing stories of strength, courage and wisdom in UK academia.
